Rosemont

Rosemont is located west of Old Town Alexandria between Taylor Run and Del Ray. Developed in the early 20th century, Rosemont is the city’s oldest planned residential expansion. Like Del Ray, Rosemont was intended to be a “street car suburb.” The plan would have connected the community with Washington, D.C. and Mt. Vernon by electric rail.
